It is okay to use a saline enema once a week?

I'm not asking if it's preferable or if it's healthy. I know it's not. I'm just asking whether it's particularly detrimental.
On top of everything else everyone said - It can deplete you of nutrients and water your body needs. It will also cause the muscles of you intestines not to work and then you will be dependent upon laxatives for the rest of your life. You can however take a fiber supplement. So to answer your question yes it is detrimental.

It could wash away the good bacteria in your system that help you digest your food. It could end up allowing bad bacteria into your system and causing all sorts of infections. Let your body do its thing naturally!
