How often is it healthy to give yourself an enema or colonic?

My Thai roommate gives himself one almost everyday and I'm convinced he's going to screw up his insides.
It will not hurt him but is a waste of time unless he has a terrible diet or bowel problem. Then he should improve it. See site below for more on this. If he is trying to cleanse, there are better ways. Find out why he is doing it.

It's fine so long as you don't turn the hoover onto 'max.' Oh…and clean it up a bit before giving it back to your neighbour.

It's never healthy to give yourself an enema or colonic on a daily basis. It DOES screw up your insides. The time to have an enema or otherwise is ONLY when your doctor prescribes it and no other time.
