Is it common to have an erection during CT scan?

I had a CT scan last week and the lady technologist said the enema tip might “massage my prostate, causing me to have an erection.” When she put in the rectal contrast she then had me cough and felt my testicles at the same time to see if there was a hernia. Is this common practice?

Well if you were to say that she proceeded to “polish the one-eyed gopher” then yes, there would be a problem…..

Well, when I had a CT done to take a look at my hip (suspected hip displaysia), I didn’t have an erection, so I dunno what to make of it. Maybe she had the hots for you?… Weird…

in the trade its called the caugh and drop techniqe, it is a common procediure yes, if theres no drop that can give a lot of info on what could be up with you.
