Can anyone give me some tips on anal sex?

Posted by: Peg  :  Category: Enema Tips

Specifically, other than my wife going through with an enema, is there anyway to ensure that it won't be "dirty"? I.e. if it's more of a spontaneous thing, is there anyway to have a good time with it, without getting myslef covered in ____?

It is not that dirty. The anal area usually does not have anything in it until right before it passes.
Use a lot of lube. Go slowly. Have her push like she is taking a dump. It will be less painful for her as her anus will be more relaxed.

Barium Enema…scared stiff!

Posted by: Peg  :  Category: Enema Tips

I went to a doctor on Monday about stomach pains I have been having and after finding nothing wrong, she set me up for a Barium Enema in early September. I had never heard of this and thought nothing of it, but she then gave me a ‘day-before kit’ and it has horrified me! It is a medium sized bag (looks like colostomy bag) connected to a long tube and there is a bottle of liquid and some pills and a suppository. The directions say that the day before this enema I am to lie on my stomach and insert the tube into my rectum and fill myself up with soap and water. What, what what??? That bag is huge! I’d kill myself!
So my question is this….is this Barium Enema procedure painful? Do I have to be awake for it? Do they drug you beforehand? I am not big on pain at all and I am two steps from cancelling, but my husband won’t let me. Any advice on this would help as the online guides only tell you the medical aspect on the procedure, not the human reaction. Thank you all.

–My symptoms have been similar to Dumping Syndrome, which they are checking me for. (I have not had any stomach or digestive surgeries). Sometimes (not all the time) right after eating (sometimes during) my lower abdomen cramps so severely that my legs feel numb and I begin to sweat and feel faint. The pain lasts for about 20 minutes. I have sever diarrheal cramps and the pain is only eleviated when I have a bowel movement. Sometimes the pain is so severe I cannot have one, though, so it continues until the time I can. I have almost had to have an ambulance come twice in the past two weeks due to pain and husband’s fear I was dying or something. I have been tested for tubal pregnancy (no), ovarian/cervical issues (no) and appendicitis (no). So, now they are doing this Barium Enema to check my colon for tumors or signs of Dumping Syndrome. The ‘lower abdomen’ means about an inch or two below my belly button.
Thank you all again for any advice or tips, or similar stories.

I find it hard to believe that your doctor has ordered this procedure. In this day and age, most people have colonoscopies. For that you get an oral cleanout kit and are sedated for the procedure. You have to be awake for the barium enema and it is a very uncomfortable procedure. I’d ask my doctor to change the order to a colonoscopy.

What do you do if you have severe constipation?

Posted by: Peg  :  Category: Enema Tips

My doctor said to eat more fibers but that don't work.,I tried prunes,Suppositories, laxitives,Enema, But I still don't feel completely empty , It hurts
Please give me tips

Have you been back to the doctor?

If yes, & he/she stills says the same, change doctors.

A dietician can help - make enquiries via your local hospital about a dieticians clinic.

Generally eating a diet high in both soluble & insoluble fibre as well as drinking plenty of water should do it.

There are some medical conditions that cause unrelenting constipation hence why I say change doctors & see a dietician.

You should aim to eat 2 serves fruit, 5 serves vegetables & wholegrain cereals.

Oats are a good source of fibre & are low GI.

Using a senna preparation can help but it has been known to irritate the lining of the bowel. Taking a dose of Cod liver oil daily is a purgative as well as giving you an important dose of Omega 3 although it can taste yucky.

Most importantly - go back to your doctor or find a new one because untreated or poorly cared for constipation can lead to haemaroids.

Good luck.

First time having anal sex, how do I keep my colon area clean?

Posted by: Peg  :  Category: Enema Tips

It will be my first time receiving anal soon and Im worried about the horror ' poo splat' stories you hear about.
I know to do an enema, but how long before we have sex?
And any foods I should avoid etc. Any other tips on keeping that are clean.
His pretty well endowed so Im more worried.

Enemas are a good idea though they aren't always necessary and available. Obviously you are planning this out and know when this is going to happen so I'd recommend making sure you have "emptied" yourself of as much waste as possible before you have sex. Four out of five times anal sex is clean and only sometimes if it is "dirty" it is very dirty. Make sure you eat healthy foods and not foods that cause constipation such as cheese. Also remember that the average person takes about three days to digest their food entirely.

Enema faqs?

Posted by: Peg  :  Category: Enema Tips

I am trying an enema for the first time today as a pre-cleanse for anal sex. I am wondering if weight loss tends to come with an enema. That is not why I am trying this but it certainly would be an added benefit. If anyone has tried one and would like to share any tips please feel free to!

Side note: Please do not lecture me on the disadvantages of an enema, I am set on doing this, thank you :-)
It's OK to do once in a while, but not all the time.
The reason is, at the last stages of digestion (when it's in your colon, which you're about to rinse out), the body gets Potassium and water out of the stool.
So, you could be short a bit on potassium if you do this often, which is bad!. Just eat a banana or drink a glass of grape juice that day, and you would be fine. The potassium pills only give you 2-3% of your daily requirement, so they're basically a waste.

That whole load of BS about "there's 9-15 pounds of stuff stuck inside your body" is a myth.
I've heard doctors say, if that was true, they would run into it when they do surgeries, autopsies, colonoscopies, etc., and they don't.

You will lose "weight' because poop weighs something, but you're not going to lose FAT, if that's what you're getting at.
It will have no effect whatsoever on that.

And I congratulate you for being open minded enough to try anal sex, your man is lucky!
And I think you will enjoy it too!

Tips on Baby Constipation Treatment

Posted by: Peg  :  Category: Enema Tips

Mark is a 5 month old baby. He has not had any sort of bowl movement for close to one week now. His parents have tried all sorts of medication to help ease the constipation: putting one-and-a-half teaspoonful of light Karo syrup in his bottles, massaging his tummy, placing him on a diet of prunes, to giving one table spoon of cereal after his bottles

Up till now, there has been no improvement and from the way things are looking, there may be no baby constipation remedy unless a “miracle” occurs. Mark’s parents, John and Jessica have been extremely worried and concerned as they are at a loss for what to do and would only use laxatives as a last resort.

Does the above scenario depict what you or someone you know are currently going through? It is only natural that you be extremely worried about what is happening to your child. Not to worry though, we might just be able to figure out what to do to help your child have the bowel movements you desire. Baby constipation remedy can be easily gotten if you know what to do. Before going into how to get the baby constipation remedy, we need to know what the causes of constipation in babies are.

1. Constipation could be as a result of the formula used in feeding the baby. Changing the formula used in feeding the baby can cause the baby’s body to take its time before adapting to the new formula.

2. Lack of breast feeding. Some babies who are fed with just formulas have been known to poop once in three days compared to their breast fed counterparts who go at least once a day.

3. The form of the formula. If it is powder, ensure there is no packing when measuring. This basically means no compressing when you are measuring the formula.

4. The current atmospheric temperature. What is the current temperature of your locality? If it is pretty hot, then it might be responsible for your baby’s slower bowel movement.

However, the baby constipation remedy you need varies. You can try using a glycerin suppository. When using this, ensure that you put a little K-Y jelly on the suppository and insert in the baby’s rectum. Then hold the buttocks together so the suppository does not slide out. After this, give a warm bath. This helps the baby relax and have a bowel movement soon. Watch out however, as you might just have to deal with cleaning the stool from the bathtub as the baby may go right there.

If on the other hand you don’t like baby constipation remedy stated above, you can try using a poop inducer available as a natural remedy. It is a perfectly safe digestion stimulant. What’s more, it doesn’t cost a fortune to have and can be used by all age grades -adults inclusive.

my 3week old baby has been constipated for days and his ped told me to give him an infant enema,?

Posted by: Peg  :  Category: Enema Tips

i followed the directions exactly and put the tip in just enough to insert the liquid. when i changed his diaper after he had a bm his anal glands were swollen. Could I have hurt him? Will it go down?

arg enemas are an extreme. and yes the glands will go down. if you are formula feeding try switching formulas because certian formulas constipate babies. try soy or carnation good start both are good for that. here is also a method to get them too poop that my doctor told me about. take a thermometer and lube it up and insert it a little bit count to 30…then fill a tub with a little warm water and stick their butt in it. it really does work. there is also an accupressure point on the bottom of their feet in a little above the arch in between the big toe and the next toe.
